A local pet groomer will be closed for a few days to clean up after someone accidentally crashed through the front of the business.

Luckily, no people or animals were hurt, but there is a lot of damage at Cathy's critters cuts.

“It did happen fast, and it was also kind of like in slow motion at the same time, but it’s not the first time I’ve seen a store front get hit," said Stuart Wilson.

Wilson said he was dropping off his dogs at the groomers when he and his kids saw the car jump a curb and crash into the front of the store.

“Like she was going to park right next to me and drop off her dogs and it looked like instead of hitting the brakes she hit the gas and then just kept on going. She hit it once and then just hit it again maybe out of shock or something; I don’t really know," said Wilson.

Officers believe the driver mistakenly hit the gas instead of the brakes.

Wilson said he parked a couple of spots away and jumped out to make sure no one was hurt.

“I kind of made sure that everyone inside was okay. One of the girls that works in there said '"I think she’s okay; she’s just really upset in the driver’s seat,'" said Wilson.

The owners said they plan to be open in two or three days.
