A body found in Blaine County is thought to be of a missing Watonga man, authorities said.
The Blaine County Sheriff's Office said, "Stephen Clyde Courtney, 62 of Watonga, was reported missing February 13th by his family." The sheriff's office said the vehicle Courtney was driving was later located.
Law enforcement began searching the searching the area but had to call of the search due to the extreme cold, authorities said in a press release.
Officials said they continued to search for Courtney in the following days.
Authorities said on Saturday they "recovered the body from the river bottom. The body was believed to be that of Mr. Courtney’s," but they are waiting for confirmation.
