‘Balloon Buddies’ Spread Cheer At Owasso Senior Living Center

A local company is spreading some cheer to those at an Owasso senior living center.

Workers from Tulsa Balloons dropped off dozens of inflatable “Balloon Buddies” at the Oxford Glen Memory Care Center. All the balloons were sponsored by individuals and organizations from around the community.

“It is great, it has been very heartwarming. We’ve seen residents actually hugging their balloon buddies, giving them names,” Angela Reudelhuber with Tulsa Balloons said.

This was part of a national initiative to fight loneliness among elderly people.
