Son Shoots, Kills His Mom’s Husband During Fight In MWC, Police Say

Authorities are investigating a homicide after a man was shot to death Friday at a home in Midwest City.

Police responded to the home located near East Northrup Drive and Felix Place around 1 p.m. When they arrived on the scene, they found a man injured outside.

Police said the man was fighting with his wife when the woman’s son stepped in to help her.

Officers received a call from the wife of the man killed saying her husband was shot and laying on the ramp outside their home. Officers said the son of the woman shot the man to defend his mother.

Midwest City Police Chief Brandon Clabes said the neighborhood is usually quiet. It’s located across the street from St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church and School.

No arrests have been made at this time. Police are questioning the victim’s wife and her son.

No names have been released.
