Two people are being transported to a local hospital after an accident in Downtown Oklahoma City.
The accident happened just before 8 p.m. near Interstate 40 and South Western Avenue. Officials said a car and pickup collided head-on and that the fire in one of the vehicles has been put out.
Authorities said at least one person was extricated from the vehicle.
Police on scene said that both drivers were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition. No other injuries from the accident.
Officials said South Western Avenue is now open in both directions.
