Veteran Salute: Benny Crowe

We are continuing to salute the men and women who served our country.

On Feb. 19, we're recognizing Army veteran Benny Crowe.

Benny's kids wrote in, and said, "our dad was in the U.S. Army and served in Munich, Germany, from 1961 to 1963."

He was born in Kentucky and after years in the service moved to Oklahoma City and ran his own business in construction until he retired.

Now, he volunteers each week with the Veterans' Corner in Norman.

They also said, "He's an amazing godly father, grandfather and great grandfather -- married to his wife now for almost 60 years. We are so blessed to call him ours!"
