Man Dies After Being Assaulted In SE OKC Apartment Complex

A man died after being assaulted Thursday night at a southeast Oklahoma City apartment complex, police said.

Police were called about 10:30 p.m. Thursday to a complex in the 200 block of SE 44th Street near Shields Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found a man critically injured in the courtyard of the complex.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he died. He has not been identified because investigators are trying to notify his next-of-kin.

Investigators think the man got involved in an altercation.

Gary Jordan was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a murder complaint.
