This week's frigid weather is now affecting water services in Norman.
The city said Thursday that its water treatment plant is producing low water pressure to residents.
While shutting off water is not in the city's plans, officials are asking residents to use water sparingly.
As a part of the effort to conserve water, the City of Norman is also asking residents to stop dripping faucets until further notice.
Instead of dripping faucets, the city suggests opening cabinet doors and using space heaters in order to improve heat circulation.
