DPS Office Open Thursday

Drivers license officers across the state will open back up Thursday after the winter storm shut offices down.

The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety said only certain counties would open.

Embark Free Rids To Shelters

Embark will be offering free rides to anyone trying to get to a warming shelter Thursday.

This includes the daytime shelters at Red Andrews Park and the Homeless Alliance, both in northwest Oklahoma City. As well as 240hour and night time shelters at the Salvation Army and City Rescue Mission in Downtown OKC.

UCO Launches 'Virtual Learning Toolkit' To Help Caregivers Of K-12 Students

The recent increase of at-home learning spurred the University of Central Oklahoma to assist caregivers of students Kindergarten through 12th grade with online resources for them to succeed academically. UCO calls it its "Virtual Learning Toolkit."

The university said it is also looking to add resources with more subjects and content in Spanish.
