WRWA Expecting Delays, Cancelations With Upcoming Winter Storm

Will Rogers World Airport says the incoming winter storm is already causing some delays and soon some possible cancelations as they prepare for the upcoming winter storm.

WRWA officials said people should expect delays and cancelations, especially for Sunday. They are working with passengers to reschedule flights if possible.

"From the forecast that we have seen, it's going to be big enough that if your travel plans are flexible, go ahead and rebook with your airline," said Josh Ryan with WRWA.

The airport says if someone has any flights for the next few days to consistently check with the airline to see where that flight stands. People can do that both through the airline's app and flyokc.com.

Will Rogers says they will be working closely with ODOT and OHP to monitor roads around the airport and will update on social media for any major changes.
