Veteran Salute: Jerry Waldrop

We continue to salute the men and women who served our country.

On Feb. 11, we want to salute Marine veteran Jerry Waldrop.

Jerry served for 12 years in the Marine Corps from '61 to '73, touring all across Asia.

During his time in Japan, he even became fluent in the language and taught English in his free time.

His nominator tells us his mantra is "once a marine, always a marine."

When he's not spending time with his beloved family, he also helps other disabled veterans fill out disability paperwork.

He still gives back to this day, and we thank him for his service.
