OKC Council Members To Hold Town Hall On How To Save Money This Tax Season

Oklahoma City Council members will be hosting a virtual town hall Thursday on ways low and moderate-income families can save money this tax season.

James Cooper, JoBeth Hamon, and Nikki Nice will host the meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Zoom.

Representatives from OKC Tac Help will talk about what the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is, who is eligible and how to claim the money at free tax preparation sites across the city, officials said.

The town hall will be held in Spanish and Vietnamese on Friday, February 12.
