SW OKC Home Destroyed In Early Morning House Fire

Firefighters said a southwest Oklahoma City home was destroyed in an early morning fire.

According to authorities, the fire was near Southwest 40th Street and South May Avenue.

Fire officials said the home was being converted, which made it difficult for firefighters to assess the flames.

There was no one inside the home during the time of the fire, firefighters said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
