Man Accused Of Fatally Shooting Wife In SE OKC

An Oklahoma City man was arrested after he was accused of fatally shooting his wife, police said.

The incident happened shortly before noon on Sunday in the 5500 block of Dimple Drive near Sunnylane Road.

The woman called police and said she was being held against her will.

Police said the woman's husband shot his wife and left the residence where officers took him into custody without incident.

The woman was identified as 43-year-old Jamie Franklin and she was taken to a local hospital where she died.

Marcus Franklin, 29, was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a first-degree murder complaint.
