The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is launching a new campaign aimed at keeping drivers safe.
According to ODOT Oklahoma is ranked 43rd nationally for people wearing their seat belts. The over-arching theme is getting drivers to buckle-up with the slogan is "Make Safety Stick: Everybody Click."
"The difference between sometimes an accident being an injury accident versus a fatality accident is oftentimes is a seatbelt," said Terri Angier with ODOT.
Other areas of improvement are distracted drivers, bicycle and pedestrian safety.
