When she did not find it, she checked her security cameras and saw a woman had walked on her porch, pretended to knock and eventually stole her package. Garrett said she has watched stories like this on TV but never thought it would happen to her.

Garrett said it was a bold move for the thief because her family was inside when the incident happened.

“The fact of the matter is, it didn’t belong to you and you have no right to walk up on anyone’s porch and take anything that doesn’t belong to you,” said Garrett. “She got away this time but the next porch she walks up on she may not be so lucky.”

Garrett said she has increased security to her home and filed a police report after the incident happened. If you recognize the person, you can call Tulsa Police Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-COPS.
