2 Arrested In Connection With Child Abuse, Neglect In Nicoma Park

Two people were arrested after being accused of child abuse and neglect in Nicoma Park.

Mary Deronda and Charles Deronda were arrested on Monday.

They are accused of locking a child in a dog cage for lengthy periods of time and of deplorable and hazardous living conditions, police said.

Charges were filed by the Oklahoma County district attorney's office on Friday.

Police are still looking for another man in connection with the crime.

Jeremy Lee Cook, 46, was charged and is accused of child abuse by injury.
