Chilly Morning Will Give Way To Above Average Temperatures

Cold and frosty across the state this morning. There is dense freezing fog in south and central Oklahoma this morning. Watch for ice on elevated surfaces in this area.

Look for mostly sunny skies today with highs well above normal. Highs will climb into the 50s and 60s. Tonight clouds build in, and winds crank up! Lows tonight will be significantly warmer than today.

Thursday morning will start in the 40s. As our next powerful storm approaches, winds will really increase out of the north.

Look for gusts 45 to 50 mph tomorrow. This will drop the relative humidity, and really ramp up the fire threat. Winds remain strong through Friday.
