Police Identify Woman Killed In NE OKC

A woman was found dead after a shooting was reported in northeast Oklahoma City.

Anita Walker, 52, was found fatally shot Saturday night at a residence near NE 16th Street and Interstate 35.

Police were called shortly before midnight on Saturday in reference to a shooting in the 1900 block of N Page Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a woman in front of the residence. She died at the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made.

Walker's death is the city's first homicide of 2021.
