One man is dead after an early morning house fire in northeast Oklahoma City, authorities and family confirm.
Firefighters said the fire was near Northeast 17th Street and North Bryant Avenue.
The man was found after a second search through the home. He was taken to the hospital in serious, life-threatening condition where he later died, authorities said.
Firefighters said the house is about 50 percent damaged and they believe the fire started in the front living room.
Homicide and arson teams are responding to the scene, but fire officials said this is standard procedure when there is a victim.
This is a developing story.
