Woman Dies After Being Hit By Vehicle In NW OKC

One woman is dead after being hit by a vehicle Monday morning in northwest Oklahoma City, police said.

According to authorities, the woman was on a bike when she was hit by the vehicle in the southbound lanes of Meridian Avenue near Northwest 14th Street.

Police said the impact from the crash severed her right leg.

The victim was taken to the hospital where she later died.

No charges have been filed at this time.
