AAA spokesperson Leslie Gamble said they have drivers out to help stranded motorists ahead of Thursday’s winter storm.

The company said it will have 150 tow drivers out and ready to assist anyone who needs it.

With New Year’s Eve celebrations and a winter storm on the way, AAA is urging drivers to be smart if they are going to be out and about tonight.

Gamble said mixing drinking, driving and slick roads is a recipe for disaster.

"We ask that people drive very slowly and, if they see emergency vehicles with flashing lights, to move over and slow down to avoid any further damage,” Gamble said.

If you need assistance with car issues or need help on the roads, you can call 1-800-AAA–HELP.
