Oklahoma County Detention Center Detainee Dies At Local Hospital

An Oklahoma County Detention Center official said an unidentified inmate died at a local hospital on Thursday night.

Authorities said EMSA was contacted after a 50-year-old man was being treated by the jail's medical staff for chest pains.

After being transported to St. Anthony's Hospital, the man died just after 6 p.m. Thursday.

The medical examiner will determine the man's cause of death.
