We continue to salute the men and women who served our country.
On Dec. 16, we salute Army veteran Jim Hill.
Jim volunteered to go to Vietnam three separate times, hoping to keep his younger brothers from being drafted.
He spent most of his time there in the DMZ, listening and recording enemy radio traffic.
After the war, he was diagnosed with cancer caused by exposure to Agent Orange.
Now retired, Jim rides his motorcycle with the Patriot guard, escorting veteran funerals.
He also goes to the veterans homes for celebrations and support, doing all he can for those who served.
Thank you, Jim Hill, for your continued service.
You can nominate a veteran at News9.com/SomethingGood.
