1 Dead, Another Hurt In Overnight Lake Hefner Crash

Oklahoma City Police said one person is dead and another is in the hospital after an overnight crash near Lake Hefner.

According to authorities, around 11 p.m. Thursday, the driver of a new Porsche was racing around Lake Hefner. Police said the high speeds caused the driver to lose control of their vehicle after they hit a dip in the road near Northwest 70th Street and North Portland Avenue and flipped.

The driver died at the scene. There is currently no word on the passengers condition.

No names have been released at this time.
