This Saturday's Oklahoma at West Virginia game scheduled for 11 a.m. has been canceled.
The news was first reported by News 9's Lee Benson.
West Virginia University's athletic department confirmed late Thursday morning that it is suspending all football activities for the next seven days "due to a surge of positive COVID-19 cases and contact tracing within the football program."
The game will not be rescheduled.
OU's matchup against West Virginia would have been the Sooners' final regular season game of 2020.
The Sooners are still expected to face the Iowa State Cyclones in the 2020 Big 12 Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 19 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
