Authorities Identify Fatalities In SW OKC Deadly Crash

Two people involved in a crash that killed both of them on Wednesday night have been identified.

Police responded to an injury accident around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday to the intersection of Southwest 149th Street and South Western Avenue.

Authorities said Michelle Wynd was facing northbound on Western Avenue and stationary at a stop light when Jason Wilson, who was also northbound on Western Avenue, struck the rear of Wynd's vehicle at an apparent high rate of speed.

Wynd's vehicle burst into flames, trapping her inside. Both Wynd and Wilson were pronounced dead at the scene.
