Garvin County Man Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a Garvin County man died in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a Garvin County man died in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday morning.

According to OHP, the accident happened just before 4 a.m. Saturday on State Highway 74.

The vehicle, driven by 60-year-old Edwin Reynolds of Elmore City, left the roadway and struck a tree.

Reynolds was pinned between the vehicle for nearly two hours before he was freed by the Maysville Fire Department. Reynolds was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
