Tulsa Pastor Recovers After Being Hospitalized With COVID-19 For 48 Days

A Tulsa pastor who spent 48 days in the hospital with COVID-19 has returned home.

Pastor Mitch Wilburn from the Park Church of Christ in Broken Arrow was in Saint Francis on a ventilator for weeks, but now recovered enough to go home, with out patient rehab. He says he's thankful for the staff who took care of him and the people who regularly prayed for him.

"And I knew people would be kind and thoughtful, but the level to which people have gone has caught me off-guard," said Rev. Wilburn.

Wilburn says he's tired, and lost significant weight, but believes now he's going to be fine.
