Tulsa Police are looking for two men they said held women at gunpoint inside Patricia’s at 71st and Lewis and robbed them. The entire thing was caught on surveillance video.

Robbery detectives said this was a brazen attack on two innocent women. They said the men clearly don't care about anyone's safety and they need to be off the streets.

Surveillance video shows two men walk into Patricia's with a gun and immediately force the two employees to get on the ground.

"The suspect with the pistol, I mean he had it on these two females, they are down, I mean it is a dangerous situation. It's basically pointed at their heads the whole time,” said Lieutenant Justin Ritter with Tulsa Police.

Police said the robbers asked the women several times to open the safe. The video shows one of the men pointing a gun at the women, while the other cleans out the register.

"It just goes to show that unfortunately there's people out there that will take advantage of any situation they can,” said Lt. Ritter. “They are going to take advantage of two women who aren't going to be able to fight back."

Lieutenant Ritter said the two employees did great. He said they listened, did what they were told and avoided getting hurt or even killed.

Ritter said COVID-19 masks have not only made it harder on them to solve robberies, it’s also made it harder on potential victims too.

"In the past, if you see someone wearing a mask, it's going to raise your eyebrow, and you're going to think that's a little off, now everyone is wearing a mask so the citizen and witness awareness, it's not perking their interest anymore,” said Lt. Ritter.

Lt. Ritter said they solve a lot of their robberies by tips from the community. He said when you watch this video, focus on the little things like clothing, shoes and the way they walk. If you have any information call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
