Restore OKC is asking for people to donate on "Giving Tuesday", December 1.
The local non-profit is partnering with Simple Modern to match $20,000 worth of donations.

Macy's Make-A-Wish
Macy’s is taking a new spin on letters to Santa this holiday season.
The retailer is donating $2 for every letter dropper off, to help grant wishes for Oklahoma families a part of the Make A Wish Foundation.

OKCPS Enrollment
Oklahoma City Public School parents and students have until Friday, December 4 to opt-in or out of online learning for next semester.
District staff said they want parents to understand that whatever choice they make, it does come with a commitment.
Parents will have to decide between the traditional in-person learning or what the district calls E3, their online learning program that's completely virtual.

RFBO Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is an annual event that brings awareness to non-profits across the community.
The day is especially important for the Regional Food Bank During COVID-19.
The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma say for every $1 donated this Giving Tuesday, 12 meals will be provided for for Oklahomans living with hunger.
For anyone who still wants to donate to the food bank, they can always do so online.
RestoreOKC
One local non-profit is hoping you can support their mission to make food and education more accessible to the North East community on this Giving Tuesday.
Simple Modern has partnered with RestoreOKC to match the first $20,000 donated.

OKCPS Guidance For Extracurricular Activities
OKCPS released a guidance for extracurricular activities as the district continues virtual learning through the end of the fall semester.
"We know that positive interaction with peers and the ability to participate in school-related activities can play an important role in a student’s overall physical and mental wellness. For this reason, OKCPS has made the decision to resume fine arts, athletics, and other extracurricular activities in a safe and healthy manner effective immediately," the district said in a letter.

Edmond Public Schools Superintendent Search
The Edmond school board and the Oklahoma State School Boards Association is asking the community for their input. They are asking community members to participate in an anonymous online survey regarding the qualities and characteristics important in the district's next superintendent.
The survey should take less than five minutes. Superintendent Bret Towne will retire at the end of the 2020-2021 academic school year.
