Police Arrest Man Accused Of Stabbing Person During Fight

A man accused of stabbing a person during a fight Friday night is in jail.

Police arrested 21-year-old Jordan Hurt after officers responded to the stabbing around 10 p.m. Friday. Police didn’t say where the assault happened.

Officials said a witness reported Hurt had stabbed someone several times during a fight over a vehicle. Hurt told police the victim had pistol-whipped him in the stomach.

According to the police report, Hurt also had a significant amount of heroin on him, which he said he stole from the cartel.

Hurt is being held on complaints of assault with a deadly weapon, drug trafficking and drug and firearm possession. His bond is set at $110,000.
