Weatherford city councilors voted no on a mask ordinance during a meeting Wednesday morning.
City councilors voted no on the ordinance 3-2.
The mask ordinance had been previously brought up and was denied 5-0, but was readdressed due to rising COVID-19 cases.

“We actually had brought up previously to do a mask mandate and it was voted down a couple of months ago,” said Mike Brown the Mayor of Weatherford.
The commission said the topic of a mask ordinance could be brought back up in coming months.
Oklahoma City, Edmond, and other cities across the state have already extended their mandated into 2021.
