Ok U.S. Attorneys, Tribal Chiefs To Hold News Conference For New Response Program

Oklahoma U.S. Attorneys Trent Shores and Brian Kuester will join tribal chiefs on Monday for a news conference where they will launch the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Pilot Project in Oklahoma. Principal Chiefs David Hill of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and Chuck Hoskin Junior, of the Cherokee Nation, will join the attorneys for the conference.

Oklahoma U.S. Attorneys Trent Shores and Brian Kuester will join tribal chiefs on Monday for a news conference where they will launch the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Pilot Project in Oklahoma.

Principal Chiefs David Hill of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and Chuck Hoskin Junior, of the Cherokee Nation, will join the attorneys for the conference.

The project is designed to establish a collaborative response among tribal governments, law enforcement agencies and other partners for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons cases.

The news conference will begin at 2 p.m. on Monday.
