Metropolitan Libraries Announce Changes Due To Rise In COVID-19

The Metropolitan Library System announced new changes Friday in the wake of rising cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma County.

The Metropolitan Library System announced new changes Friday in the wake of rising cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma County.

In addition to limited computer use, services at the library will be scaled back to its Curbside Service Plus program beginning Monday, Nov. 23.

No browsing of shelves, reading or studying will not be allowed at any of the library's Oklahoma County locations.

The library said customers will be able to drop off materials to the drive-up and walkup outdoor book drops as well as explore its online programming and other digital materials.

Here are the library's grab and go curbside hours.

  1. Monday-Friday: 1-6pm
  2. Saturday: 1-4pm
  3. Sunday: 1-5pm
