Okla. Sees Windy Wednesday; High To Extreme Fire Threat

Oklahoma will see a windy Wednesday!

Look for increasing south wind through the day. Winds will gust over 45 MPH in northwest Oklahoma and over 35 MPH in Oklahoma City.

Highs will climb into the 70s.

With the increasing wind, the fire threat is high to extreme.

Winds will stay strong overnight as well with lows in the 40s and 50s.

Thursday will be another very windy day.

Through midday, winds will gust to 45 mph.

Highs will climb into the 60s and 70s. We may see 80s in far northwest Oklahoma.

The fire threat will be high tomorrow as well.
