Veteran Salute: Vernon Crownover

We're recognizing the brave men and women who have served our country.

On Nov. 16, we're recognizing Army veteran Vernon Crownover.

Vernon served in Vietnam for nine years.

His nominator said the transition back to civilian life was rough, but he never once regretted his decision to serve our country.

He is a kind man and will stop to help a stranger at the drop of a hat.

His family, right down to his great-grandchildren said they are thankful for his service and so are we.
