U.S. Marshals arrested a man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Midwest City.
Leo Deangelo Milligan was arrested in Shawnee in connection with the Nov. 5 death of Jerome Lewis Piggie.
Piggie was found dead in a yard in a Midwest City neighborhood. He reportedly tried to get help from a neighbor but collapsed and died a short time later.
Milligan was wanted on a first-degree murder charge.
Midwest City police said Milligan was armed with a gun at the time of his arrest on Monday.
"We want to thank everyone involved who has assisted our agency in trying to locate Milligan, especially the United States Marshals office. The continued threat to society is over with the arrest of this violent felon," Midwest City police Chief Brandon Clabes said.
