Free Landfill Days

Oklahoma City is offering free landfill days to help thousands of residents impacted by the recent ice storm.

Participating landfills will be open each Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from November 7 to January 2.

Landfill use is limited to tree and limb debris only.

OKCPS Virtual Learning

Oklahoma City Public Schools is moving to virtual learning for the rest of the week due to ongoing power outages.

The district says teachers will load assignments into their Canvas system and students will learn on their own.

The district's curbside meal service will also be limited the rest of week.
