Amazing Oklahoman: Judge Judy Provides Comfort To Domestic Violence Victims

Our Amazing Oklahoman is an expert in canine comfort.

Meet Judge Judy and her handler Rogers County Reserve Deputy Bill Helton.

Helton rescued Judy right before she was scheduled to be euthanized.

Now one of Judy's main jobs is to comfort victims of domestic violence during hearings at the Rogers County courthouse.

Her calming presence helps victims tell their story and share important details with the court.
