A McAlester mother and her newborn baby are back from the hospital after their home caught fire last week causing her to go into labor at 37 weeks.

A McAlester mother and her newborn baby are back from the hospital after their home caught fire last week causing her to go into labor at 37 weeks.

Jesseka Whitman said her baby River appeared to be healthy but had a seizure and had to go to a hospital.

News On 6 is told that Baby River Whitman is home and healthy.

Her parents did a little photoshoot with her to celebrate.

They say that River is blind in one eye but is doing well.
