Thousands Remain Without Power In Moore, Norman Area

Just about anywhere you go in Moore and Norman you’ll see trees that have splintered under the weight of all the ice from winter storms.

Some of the older neighborhoods 100-year-old trees snapped like twigs, falling on cars, into buildings and roadways.

News 9’s Sylvia Corkill spoke with one man who spent several hours helping neighbors cut away fallen tree limbs before focusing his efforts on a 65-foot tree that toppled in his front yard.
