Oklahoma will see a wild, windy, wet and wintry start to the week!

The state will see complicated forecast with several waves of winter precipitation moving thru.

An arctic cold has moved into northwest Oklahoma and is moving southeast into the state.

The first wave of precipitation moved through overnight and will intensify as Monday morning progresses. The rain line sets up southeast of Interstate 44.

Rain, freezing rain and some sleet and snow are expected around I-44 and areas northwest.

Precipitation will intensify during the morning then lighten up some through the afternoon into the evening.

The second wave arrives Monday night into Tuesday morning. Additional rain and ice are expected with this round.

The third wave will arrive on Wednesday. The air is expected to modify some and there will be cold rain with some sleet or snow in west Oklahoma.
