OKC Man Arrested After Injuring Woman With Cell Phone, Pointing Rifle At Her Family

Oklahoma City police say a man is in custody after injuring a woman and pointing a gun at her family.

According to police, the man hit his girlfriend with a cellphone cutting her head. Officers say that while she was bleeding the woman had a seizure and had to be transported to the hospital.

At some point, police say the family of the girlfriend went to confront the boyfriend and when they arrived he pulled out a rifle and pointed it at several people. Police say he then hid the weapon in his truck before officers could return to the scene.

The suspect was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault & Battery and pointing a firearm. According to OKCPD, the suspect's truck was towed but they will have to wait for a warrant to search for the rifle on Monday.

The woman was treated for her injuries and released.
