Sapulpa city Leaders are hosting an open house on Wednesday where city residents will not only have the chance to learn about the city’s downtown master plan but have a say in the planning.

According to Sapulpa city officials, they want city residents to see the initial concepts that they have put together and gather feedback.

The forming of the master plan comes as city leaders hope to revitalize the city’s downtown by creating a more walkable area with better parking, open spaces for the public and more nightlife options.

City leaders said they hope to have a finalized plan by the summer of 2021.

The open house will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the SenGence event center on Dewey Avenue. Members of the development planning will be present.
