Oklahoma City Public Schools announced its guidelines for winter sports on Thursday. The district said basketball and wrestling will take place as normal at the middle and high school levels.
Middle school athletic venues "will not allow for sufficient social distancing," so middle school basketball and wrestling will not have fans in attendance. Fans will be able to attend high school basketball and wrestling events, but they are required to follow OKCPS' safety guidelines. All individuals must wear a mask or face covering and will be subject to a temperature check before entering any high school athletic facility.
A person with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be allowed to attend a high school athletic event.

Concessions will not be available at any of the district's venues. OKCPS said that fans will not be allowed to bring outside food or drinks to any of its athletic facilities.
"We are looking forward to having our basketball and wrestling athletes back next month," OKCPS Athletic Director Todd Dilbeck said in a statement. "Participating in sports has many benefits from the obvious physical perks to mental health advantages. Physical and mental health are always important, but they’re especially significant during these trying times.”
