Oklahoma will see a mild start to the day Wednesday with hot and windy conditions in the afternoon.
Look for highs in the 80s and 90s. A few locations in the far southwest may see the triple digits.
Winds will be strong out of the southwest, and this will ramp up the fire threat.
Humidity in far western Oklahoma will range from eight to 15 percent.
Wednesday night, a strong cold front arrives. This will ramp up the north wind. Winds 40 to 50 mph will be possible overnight.
Winds will back off through midday on Thursday.
Behind the cold front, temperatures will only reach the 60s and 70s Thursday.
