A strong cold front barreled into the state overnight Monday.
Winds were gusting over 55 mph at times.
Winds will really relax through the day, leaving behind much cooler temperatures. Highs will be in the 70s with sunny skies.
Monday night, the state will see light winds and clear skies. Lows will fall into the 40s and low 50s.
Tuesday, a light south wind returns and will help warm us up to 70s and 80s.
Wednesday will be hot and windy. Highs in the upper 80s and low 90s with a strong south wind. This means the fire threat will be high to extreme.
