Gathering Place Installs New Rapid Electric Vehicle Chargers

Thanks to the PSO and the Indian Nations Council of Governments, there are now electric vehicle chargers at the Gathering Place.

The partnership will bring a new kind of ultrafast charging station to popular locations across Tulsa. Park leaders said they are excited to offer Tulsans the state-of-the-art technology.

“It allows us as well, as Tulsans, to be at the tip of the spear with electric charging,” Executive Director of the Gathering Place Tony Moore said. “To know that this technology, being new, will also now go forward on the national level and we are on the forefront of this. It’s so exciting for us.”

The new chargers provide 100 miles of range in about ten minutes and will also be installed at Tulsa International Airport and the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks.
