1 Detained After A Police Chase Leads To Short Standoff At A Del City Home

One person was detained after a police chase ended with a short standoff at a Del City home.

Oklahoma City and Del City police officers were involved in the chase and the arrest.

A female driver was taken into custody Wednesday morning after officers managed to get her outside of a home in the 1900 block of Elm Drive near SE 15th Street and Sunnylane Road.

The driver appeared to have crashed her vehicle behind the home before attempting to barricade herself.

It is unclear why the chase was initiated, where it started or for how long it lasted.
